Katie jolted herself awake. She sat straight up in bed and looked frantically around. How’s Sam doing? Katie asked Bumblebee.
She had been conversing between the Autobot and Optimus while lying in her bed for the past hour and it was well past midnight. Katie could hear Mikaela's quiet slumber from the corner of the bedroom, assuming the rest of the house was fast asleep too. Katie should've been tired and sleeping but she didn’t care: it was a Saturday tomorrow.

Katie ran down the street towards Bobby Bolivia’s Car Lot, panic welling up inside of her. She had been so concerned about her vision with Qatar that she had completely forgotten about Sam! She was supposed to be watching him until Bumblebee was here!
Katie let out a short breath from her burning lungs, fueling her to round the street corner and reach Bobby Bolivia’s that was just at the end of the road. Hopefully Bumblebee and Sam were already there. If they weren’t she wouldn’t know where they were! And that scared her more than anything.
